Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge just got an upgrade in the form of new in-room interactive TVs.

New smart TVs are slowly being introduced to hotel rooms at Walt Disney World Resort. These interactive TV systems provide a more personalized, easy-to-use experience that welcomes guests into the room, provides access to free content, connections to streaming content, and more.

The system is already in place at Disney’s Riviera Resort and Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. Now, Animal Kingdom Lodge guests can also access the new televisions.

Here’s more from Disney on this system:

This new interactive TV system personalizes the in-room TV experience by welcoming guests as they arrive. Guests can also enjoy in-room streaming with free Disney content and connectivity for their personal devices to stream their subscribed content (Disney+, Hulu, etc.). Standard channels, park hours, resort amenities and information are also available.

Smartphones, tablets and laptops are supported to stream to the TV. Only content from Chromecast-enabled apps (mirroring is not supported) can be sent to the TV.

Guest credentials and Connect My Device pairings will be erased upon checkout. Guests will use their personal devices to log into all subscription services, so information is not stored in the system.

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has clarified speculation about the Pat McAfee Show on Tuesday, February 22, simply saying, “There will be no news today — no decision on my future.”

Rodgers told McAfee that he had just returned from a 12-day panchakarma – a cleanse that originated in India. Rodgers said it’s something he’s done in the offseason in the past.

The four-time MVP said at the time that he hadn’t ruled out any options, including a return to the Packers for an 18th season, retirement or a trade request.

Late Monday, Rodgers thanked his current and former teammates and coaches in an Instagram message posted amid speculation about the reigning NFL MVP’s future.

After the season, Rodgers talked about making a decision when the free agency period begins next month. He continues to emphasize the importance of doing so quickly.

“I get it,” Rodgers said on the show. “There is not much to say about football and it will be a topic of conversation. But I can’t wait to make a decision and move forward. I think it’s best for me It’s better for the team. It’s better for all parties involved. Let’s put that behind us.”

Rodgers, 38, offered the Packers reason for optimism.

He said he enjoyed the post-season conversations he had with team officials such as coach Matt LaFleur, general manager Brian Gutekunst and executive vice president/chief operating officer. ball soccer ball.

“The meetings were very different from what they have been in the past, in a positive way,” Rodgers said. “There were some real honest conversations that I appreciate.”

He wants to avoid a repeat of 2021, when his status with the team was uncertain until the start of training camp.

Rodgers showed up to training camp on time last summer after skipping their mandatory minicamp, but admitted his future with the organization was uncertain. At the time, he said he wanted to have more of a voice in the team’s decision-making process.

His relationship with Packers management has improved over the season. Rodgers said it started with a meeting he had with Gutekunst shortly after arriving at training camp.

“I feel like that was kind of the first step to having a real, smooth conversation and friendship,” Rodgers said. “I’m really grateful for the work he’s done on the relationship, and so is Russ Ball. Matt and I believe that every year we get closer and feel better about our communication.”

Rodgers said he also needed to make some adjustments.

“It wasn’t a one-way street,” Rodgers said. “I knew I had to grow up too. I had to be more comfortable with those conversations, respond to them in a timely manner, try to find kindness in the tough times or the difficult conversations we had. I have the feeling like we all grew up and had a good year of communication, we had some great conversations after the season, I felt really good about how it tied together before I left town.

LaFleur and chairman/CEO Mark Murphy had said after the season that they wanted Rodgers back in 2022. They said it was a unanimous decision among the team’s key decision makers.

The Packers appeared to have made a decision to keep Rodgers last week with the hiring of quarterbacks coach Tom Clements, who previously worked with the team from 2006 to 2016. Rodgers said Tuesday he owes Clements “so much credit for my development” and added that “the game is better when Tom Clements is coaching because he is one of those special, special coaches”.

ATAGI is expected to deliver its verdict on the definition of ‘fully vaccinated’ today, as premiers and the federal government remain at odds over entry requirements for tourists.

With the international border set to reopen from February 21, the federal government has said fully vaccinated travelers will be allowed entry.

But Victoria Premier Daniel Andrews has indicated he may seek to impose restrictions on visitors who have not received a reminder.

The bills for the Religious Discrimination Bill were removed from the Senate agenda. It comes after the bill passed the House of Representatives in the early hours of the morning.

South Australia is easing COVID-19 restrictions from tonight. Home gatherings can increase from 10 to 50 and fitness classes increase to one person per four square meters. Hospitality venues can increase capacity to 75% outdoors and people will be allowed to stand, and from Monday workplaces can return to 50%.

And new data from the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) has revealed that police recorded 29,218 people as having committed COVID-19 related offenses in Australia between July 1, 2020 and June 30, 2021.

A lot happened on what was Parliament’s first day back for the year.

Prime Minister Scott Morrison has acknowledged and apologized to political staff who have been bullied, harassed and abused. “I’m sorry. We’re sorry,” Mr Morrison said.

Mr Morrison also apologized to former Liberal staffer Brittany Higgins, saying “I’m sorry to Miss Higgins for the terrible things that have happened here”.

Opposition Leader Anthony Albanese praised Ms Higgins for helping to break the silence on abusive parliamentary culture.

Defense Minister Peter Dutton has promised that the federal government will “do more if necessary” ahead of the deployment of ADF troops to help the aged care sector through its current COVID-19 crisis. Nearly 12,000 senior care residents and staff are currently infected with the virus, and 1,176 facilities nationwide are battling outbreaks.

In New South Wales, COVID-19 cases have increased slightly, with 9,690 new infections recorded in the past 24 hours.

And Queensland has recorded 5,178 new cases of COVID-19 and 12 deaths, aged between 30 and 90. Health Minister Yvette D’Ath said none had received a booster and three were unvaccinated.

Prime Minister Scott Morrison says he has no idea who was behind a series of text messages allegedly written by Gladys Berejiklian which were leaked at a public event yesterday. In the text messages, Ms Berejiklian reportedly described Mr Morrison as a ‘horrendous person’.

New South Wales is recording 27 coronavirus-related deaths and 11,807 more cases, down from yesterday when 30 deaths and 12,818 COVID-19 infections were reported.

A child under 10 has died with COVID-19 in Queensland and 9,630 new cases have been recorded. The state is currently facing more severe weather, even as a lingering intense heat wave in Queensland is hampering cleanup efforts after a supercell storm.

Victoria Premier Daniel Andrews has announced that millions of rapid antigen tests are set to be manufactured in the state from April this year if the plan is approved by the Therapeutic Goods Administration. It comes as the state recorded 14,553 new cases of COVID-19 and 25 deaths amid warnings that infections could increase as students return to class for the start of the school year.

And the Australian music scene is mourning the loss of Glenn Wheatley, who died aged 74 from complications related to COVID-19.

“Cellophane in shrink film, so correct

Red dogs under illegal paws …

She looks at the detectives

“Ooh, that’s so cute. “

The tribute of Elvis Costello to film a black crime drama, “Watching the Detectives,” inadvertently became a musical tipping point as 2021 bled into 2022. On December 30, my pastor – and dear friend – dropped by for one of our regular meetings . This time, anticipating that a pinch or two might be appropriate, we avoided the more adult-friendly twilight daylight hours.

During our ‘Brotherhood of Nerds’ tours, we walk through a mix of awareness topics, including current events, family matters, and foundational memories. Of course, the role of God is still largely interwoven. Any occasional depth is counterbalanced by our detours into the foolish. Always refreshing and entertaining, our meetings serve as an invigorating and relieving pressure from life.

At one point on our first finger of whiskey that night, Pastor K said he wanted another chance to pierce me with a song that I couldn’t fit into a column. On the ride, he heard Costello’s tune and thought he better me with it. Inwardly, I laughed. Elvis is one of my favorites. I have entrusted several of his compositions to memory. The pastor’s choice of challenge happens to be one of my dearest. Immediately the two lines I opened with occurred to me.

Ironically, ALS demands flexibility and creativity in response to its crippling advances. Currently, I am prohibited from wetting my leg wounds between dressing changes. So, my tentative “correct” daily routine involves a tight “cellophane wrap” of my bandaged legs before taking a shower. The constriction of the dressings exacerbates the pre-existing risk of edema, giving my “dogs” – familiar to the feet – a reddish tinge. My limp legs should be “illegal”. Game, set, match, Pastor K.

Wait. There is more. Costello goes on to sing, “You think you’re alone until you realize you’re there.” Lately, due to my verbal limitations, our summits have taken on an emphatic monologue quality. Pastor is “alone” on stage. I am an isolated audience of one.

This would still have been the case on the 30th had it not been for the reception of my new eye gaze controlled speech generation device the day before. I was able to secure an installation and rudimentary training appointment a few hours before the pastor’s arrival. Although still a novice groping with the Tobii Dynavox technology, I was able to participate while Pasteur was here. We both realized we were “in” – a two-way conversation.

While still experimenting with the gaze capture hold time, voice volume, and audible signals confirming image selection, a delayed interaction – which at times approached spontaneity – was rendered. possible. I shared thoughts. I answered the questions. I made him laugh. It was joyful!

Beyond the fun of fellowship, the evening was a timely reminder of my three New Year’s resolutions. The mental dissection of Costello’s song fulfilled both my promise of a vigilant war on pressure ulcers and my aspiration to master the living art of augmented communication. Oddly enough, my second sample of whiskey, from a bottle of Angel envy, was a mnemonic for my third pledge to double on God.

Proving that life is constantly being added, an epilogue circumstance arose last night. Yesterday was Tobii’s second training session. My kind instructor has boldly guided me here and there through the world of eye-driven internet exploration. It also enabled many common apps, and a few specific to my needs and use.

The desktop portal is accessible, literally in the blink of an eye, from the power-on screen. Once inside, gaze and cursor swipe control is available. Mouse actions, such as single or double click, scroll, copy and paste, can thus be directed via an adjustable vision fixture. If necessary, a keyboard can be overlaid and accessible from a set of pages.

It will take some time to get used to this new way of surfing the Internet. Practice will be essential. Fortunately, a few of the apps are entertainment-focused, so your time doesn’t have to be tedious.

With that in mind, after my tutoring ended, I decided to try streaming something from HBO. I thought the plethora of network programming options would provide plenty of possibilities for mouse manipulation. In addition, I was able to check the audio and video quality of the unit.

After going through HBO’s vast library, I found my first set of scroll and click reps sufficient. From my new and expanded knowledge of the content, I chose a series in honor of Pastor K. I started watching “Real detectives. “Season 1 stars Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson. I have to admit that with these two leading the cast,“ It’s so cute. ”

Do something for your health every day. Simple activities and one-minute meditations are a great way to start. There are workouts for all abilities and fitness levels, from chair workouts to high-intensity interval training.

Physical activities can include a walk or tossing a ball from one hand to the other while standing or sitting. Try adding cognitive exercises to your daily regimen. For example, throw the ball and spell your name.

You can also add resistance training with very light weights or bands. Water bottles or cans of soup can serve as dumbbells. A tea towel squeezed between your hands can also be used. Be creative.

A few things to keep in mind: Choose something that matches your fitness level and that you enjoy, and try new activities. If you can exercise with friends, a spouse, or others with Parkinson’s disease, they can hold you accountable and help you persevere. It’s a win for everyone!

the Davis Phinney Foundation for Parkinson’s Disease and the Brian Grant Foundation offer additional resources and guidance.

mindfulness

Researchers find that mindfulness is helpful in managing Parkinson’s disease. It can relieve stress and anxiety and improve your mood. Some helpful tools are apps, books, soft music, and breathing techniques.

Healthy eating

Drink enough water to stay hydrated and maintain well balanced diet can be difficult. Finding ways to simplify cooking can make it easier and less stressful.

Start with a few simple recipes which contain few ingredients but are full of vitamins. Use pre-cut meats and vegetables as a shortcut.

Try new things and mix them up. Hard-boiled eggs or smoothies can be a healthy meal any time of the day. It’s breakfast for dinner!

Another option is meal delivery services, which conveniently send ingredients for multiple meals to you. You can adapt the meals to your diet and choose the number of meals you want.
