TV actor Nakuul Mehta has responded to a news article about his graduation. Actor Nia Sharma, Nikita Dutta and others reacted to his tweet.
On Monday, Nakuul Mehta reacted to an article from a news site about his diplomas and those of other television actors. The report talked about the few highly skilled TV actors and their training that will leave their fans “stunned”. In response to this, Nakuul wondered if it was against his job to be educated. The news article shared by Nakuul listed his qualifying background along with those of the late actor Sidharth Shukla, Divyanka Tripathi, Tejasswi Prakash and many more. The report states that Nakuul obtained a master’s degree in commerce from the University of Mumbai. Reacting to this, Nakuul tweeted, “Why does this have to leave you dumbfounded? Is it against my job to be educated?
TV actor Nikita Dutta reacted to Nakuul’s tweet and said, “Educated no. But read well yes. He replied to her comment and said, “Hell ya.” Actor Surbhi Gupta said, “On the one hand, it shows the mindset of our society and its outlook on showbiz, but I also hope it sends the message that it’s okay to choose a acting career after graduating.” Actor Nia Sharma commented: “Hahahaha”.
One fan commented, “I would say see it that way. We Indians expect exceptionally talented people to be excellent in their own skills. Just like Tendulkar is supposed to be great at cricket. Now, if besides that, someone still managed to be good at education. (A common symbol of being smart. It’s mind-blowing.” Another said, “I really have no idea the ‘dizzy’ part. Are actors still excluded from literacy. Even after s ‘be qualified for other professions, some pursue other fields for creative satisfaction and happiness too, it’s not all about money.’
Highlighting that the qualification is “rare in the industry”, one fan said: “Of course it’s not against your work. I guess they’re just trying to show something that’s rare in the industry. Most actors in the past have been high school or college dropouts, so it’s nice to see others who have finished school and pursued acting careers.
Nakuul made his television debut in 2012 with the show Star Plus Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara. He then appeared on shows such as Ishqbaaaz and Dil Boley Oberoi.
