Interactive TVs are coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge just got an upgrade in the form of new in-room interactive TVs.
New smart TVs are slowly being introduced to hotel rooms at Walt Disney World Resort. These interactive TV systems provide a more personalized, easy-to-use experience that welcomes guests into the room, provides access to free content, connections to streaming content, and more.
The system is already in place at Disney’s Riviera Resort and Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. Now, Animal Kingdom Lodge guests can also access the new televisions.
Here’s more from Disney on this system:
This new interactive TV system personalizes the in-room TV experience by welcoming guests as they arrive. Guests can also enjoy in-room streaming with free Disney content and connectivity for their personal devices to stream their subscribed content (Disney+, Hulu, etc.). Standard channels, park hours, resort amenities and information are also available.
Smartphones, tablets and laptops are supported to stream to the TV. Only content from Chromecast-enabled apps (mirroring is not supported) can be sent to the TV.
Guest credentials and Connect My Device pairings will be erased upon checkout. Guests will use their personal devices to log into all subscription services, so information is not stored in the system.
